Start Bright Inc (SBI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit early learning and childcare center located in Paulding County, Georgia.

As a non-profit center, we rely heavily on community donations to further our mission of providing quality child care to the children of Paulding County.

Start Bright Inc serves children 6 weeks to 12 years old, we are committed to providing a nurturing and innovative multi-faceted 21st century learning environment adapted to an ever-changing technologically advanced era.

Our child-centered program aligns with the Georgia Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) and S.T.E.A.M. approach to instruction. Each child is exposed to two or more standards from Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and the Arts. Inquiry, discovery, collaboration, and process-based learning are at the heart of the S.T.E.A.M.

We realize every child is unique and learns differently. Educators create individualized S.T.E.A.M. learning experiences to support high-quality learning and development. In addition to our educators creating curriculum, we utilize Kid Spark STEM Labs as well as Mother Goose curriculum. This helps us to create the most well-rounded curriculum as possible for our children.

Studies have shown that children who are exposed to S.T.E.M. or S.T.E.A.M. early in life are more likely to do well in school later in life. Since this learning takes place early in each child’s development, children have the greatest chance of benefiting from an early hands-on approach to S.T.E.A.M. education.

“I found it hard to focus in school. I didn’t do well in high school and feel like if I had the resources I needed early in life that I would have succeeded academically.  Sports and a hands-on education is what saved me.”
